     I express my emotional struggles with sobriety and anxiety with acrylic on canvas.

     I take multiple materials and mixes them into my paintings to give texture and depth. Everything is touch in the modern world but, it is all smooth all screen and no texture. I use everything from salt and eggshells to feathers and crystals to achieve that texture. With the layers of material and paint it can take up to a month to complete a single painting. A poem accompanies each painting that I write. The poem is one more layer of art that I add for texture.
